Christmas 08

It's been awhile, and seeming as how I sat down at the computer to do budget stuff/balance the checkbook, naturally I will put that off to update our way more important blog. I feel like I'm in college again...procrastinating as soon as I sit down at the computer.

So....for everyone who has been waiting in anticipation, sorry to let you down....but....my plant died. I blame my neighbor really. She's the one who told me there was no hope, my pot was too small.

So, what else...oh yeah...my niece, Tegan was born! She's so cute. I'm too lasy to take pictures, so I stole them off my sister's myspace. Enjoy:

Nik and I went up to San Leandro for Christmas. It was fun...and not too cold, which made me happy. On Sunday, Nik and I cashed in our gift cards for...get this....

yeah... a vacuum cleaner that actually works! For the past year we've had two vacuum cleaners, one that pushed all the dirt to the edges of the room, and another that we could only use the hose to pick up all the dirt from the edges. Then in August the first vacuum cleaner broke (more) and we were left with a vacuum cleaner that we could only use the hose and that overheated and shut off after ten minutes. So needless to say, I haven't vacuumed since August. Gross I know, but you try vacuuming an entire room on your hands and knees with only the hose! So anyways, now I have no excuse for dirty floors. Nik and I are dorks, our "entertainment" for Sunday night was vacuuming and using the duster attachment.

But...we are not going to be lame for long....because as of last night at 8:30 pm, Nik and I became the proud parents of......

With a few monetary donations, b-day money, extra gift card money, and Nik's mom's discount, we were finally able to afford it! We don't technically have it yet....it's being shipped to the nearest Walmart and we get it in two weeks. I'm just stoked to play Eye of the Tiger. Heck yes!

Ok, I think that is all.

She is a cutie!

It was good to see you guys at Christmas. Maybe we can swing a trip down and have a Rockband competition. I am feeling my "Eye of the Tiger" skills!
