Hot new air-freshener scent: beer

So it's been awhile....so long in fact that I forgot the username and password to log on.  No worries, obviously...I have figured it out.  

I want to give a shout out to the drunk who was driving down Palomar Way.  Thank you for throwing your empty 40 through our rear car window.  It was delightful.  I always wondered how far glass flies when it is shattered (quite far actually, and everywhere!) and there's nothing more cozy than bundling up with a nice warm sweater full of glass shards. 

Ok, that was dramatic, but true!  Our window was smashed to pieces, but things turned out really well.  Not only was our deductable a lot lower than we thought ($100), but the shop that fixed it waived our deductable (after some clever negotiations from Nik) AND came to us to fix the window.  So we didn't have to do anything!  Nik and I finally got the interior all cleaned out today and now the car looks even better than before!  So really the only inconvenience was that I had to go a week without being able to drive barefoot....and I think there might still be glass in my sweater.

Next time, Budweiser should stop advertising by having the paper boy deliver free samples.
